Drug and Alcohol Policy

At Melbourne Reiki and Wellness, we are committed to creating a safe, respectful, and healing environment for everyone. This Drug and Alcohol Policy applies to all in-person, distant, and online services, sessions, workshops, Reiki Courses, and programs offered by Melbourne Reiki and Wellness.

Sober and clear-headed requirement

We do not accept clients or students who attend or participate in any service while under the influence of drugs or alcohol. This includes in-person and distant 1:1 Reiki healing sessions, Reiki & Energy Alchemy sessions, Reiki + Tarot sessions, workshops, Reiki Courses, and online programs, including The Sovereign Self.

Participants must be sober and clear-headed when attending or participating in any session, course, workshop, or live online program. This is for your safety and ours, the safety and wellbeing of the group, and the integrity of the work being undertaken.

Substances that remain in the system

Please note: many substances (including cocaine, MDMA, methamphetamines, ketamine, cannabis, psychedelics, and other recreational drugs) can remain in your system for up to 72 hours.

If you have taken recreational drugs within the past 3 days, your session, workshop, Reiki Course, or live online program session may be cancelled, or you may be asked not to attend.

Payment required and No Refund policy

If you attend or participate in a 1:1 Reiki healing, Reiki & Energy Alchemy, Reiki + Tarot, or any other 1:1 session while under the influence of drugs or alcohol, the session will not proceed or will be ended, and you will still be required to pay the full session fee (100%).

If you attend a workshop or Reiki Course under the influence of drugs or alcohol, you will forfeit your place and no refund will be given.

If you attend a live session of The Sovereign Self, or another online group program, under the influence of drugs or alcohol, you may be asked to leave the online session. You will not be entitled to a refund or credit for the missed session. Your enrolment in the program will remain subject to the program’s Cancellation Policy and, if you have selected a payment plan, any remaining instalments will continue as scheduled.
